Cookies, browser storage and your choice

Relyforge Systems uses browser storage to remember your preferences and support features you choose to use. Optional analytics stays off unless you accept it.

Storage that keeps the site working

We remember your light or dark theme and your analytics choice in this browser. If you sign in to a staff account, cookies keep the session secure. Choosing to trust a device also saves a time-limited cookie for that sign-in feature. These are separate from optional analytics.

Optional analytics

Analytics helps us understand which pages are useful and where visitors have trouble. We may use Google Analytics or Plausible, but neither loads until you accept analytics. Google Analytics can set cookies such as _ga to measure visits and actions. Plausible measures traffic without analytics cookies. Choosing Essential only keeps both tools off.

Live chat and maps

If live chat is available, Tawk.to connects only after you agree to open it. If a map is displayed, Google Maps connects only after you choose to load it. These providers may then use their own cookies or browser storage and receive information about your device. Accepting website analytics does not open chat or load a map.

Browser notifications

If you allow notifications, your browser and Firebase store information needed to deliver them to this device. We also remember if you dismiss the notification prompt, so it is not shown again straight away. You can withdraw notification permission in your browser's site settings.

Changing or clearing saved choices

Use the controls below to change your analytics choice at any time. Your choice applies to this browser. Turning analytics off stops further analytics on this site; it does not delete information already sent to a provider. You can remove saved cookies and other site data through your browser settings. This also clears preferences and may sign you out.

You can use the whole website with analytics off. If you turn it off after accepting, this page may reload to stop the analytics tools.

You have not made a choice. Analytics is off.
